CHARDONNAY IGT – ANDREA DI PEC
Lowland of the region
Traditional white wine fermentation with short maceration on the skins and controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Straw yellow with vaguely greenish highlights. The nose is fresh, fruity and flowery. The palate is soft, elegant, aromatic and well-balanced.
Storage: lay bottle down in a dark, dry environment at 15 °C. Serving suggestions: a classic aperitif that can also be served with fish or asparagus-based starters, spring soups and pasta or rice in fish sauces.
Friulian kitchen: Risotto with Tavagnacco asparagus. Superb with San Daniele prosciutto crudo (air-cured ham). Serve at 10 to 12°C in a Riedel “Vinum” Chardonnay glass or similar.
