CASTELLACCIO IGT – VILLA MONTEPALDI

A WINE WITH A TUSCAN HEART AND AN INTERNATIONAL CHARACTER
Castellaccio is produced on the same cru on which the Marchesi Corsini, already since 1628, used to produce “vini vermigli”. The University of Florence, the current owner since 1989, renovated the Castellaccio cru, creating an innovative terraced vineyard, increasing the environmental sustainability and the quality of the grapes. The synergy between the historical vocation of the terroir and the innovative approach of research finds a solid point of synthesis in this product. The vines used and the refinement techniques give to the wine a strong character and a contextual softness and roundness, able to guarantee a pleasant drinkability
